Als Kinderkrankenschwester kommt Eva (<strong>Friederike Becht<\/strong>) mit der kleinen Sarah ganz gut allein zurecht. Doch da geschieht das Unfassbare. Zwei Tage vor Ludgers R\u00fcckkehr wacht Eva morgens neben ihrem toten Baby auf. Eva schafft es nicht, sich jemandem anzuvertrauen, und treibt unter Schock durch die vorweihnachtliche Stadt. Als sie ein Kind weinen h\u00f6rt, das f\u00fcr einen Moment allein in einem Auto gelassen wurde, nimmt sie es aus einem Impuls heraus mit. In ihrer Verzweiflung beh\u00e4lt Eva das fremde M\u00e4dchen und gibt es als ihre Tochter aus. Einen Tag sp\u00e4ter kommt Ludger wieder in Hamburg an und freut sich auf seine Elternzeit mit Sarah. Gleichzeitig ermitteln seine Kollegen*innen im Fall des entf\u00fchrten Babys.
